so, they started doing new molds and all that fun shit and well, i got my new upper plate today, finally.. it actually took about 2 1/2 months for them to get them made, but, it was well worth the wait, they fit wonderfully, and i am starting to learn how to eat with them, and yes, speak as well…

“Daddy, is mother nature sick?”

i laughed and said “no sweetie, mother nature is not sick.”

molly quickly responded with “Daddy, is mother natures husband sick?” , again i replied “no sweetie, mother natures husband is not sick”

after a minute or two, she goes “Daddy, if mother nature is not sick, why is it so cold?”

i about lost it, i was trying not to LOL (laugh out loud), so i calmly said

“molly, its so cold because the earth has tilted away from the sun, because we’re in “fall/winter” so its starting to get colder now, when the earth tilts back towards the sun, it’ll get warmer, which means we’ll be in spring/summer”

molly being molly she quickly responded with the cutest thing ever…

“ohhh okay… so we’re in swinter!” ….. i was speechless at this point… so i said “whats swinter?”

molly says “Swinter is Fall + Winter!” …

after that we went on to discuss how there is no S in fall or winter…. but either way, it was a funny conversation, and i hope you enjoy reading about it

so yep, i walked into another bradism!

needless to say, this idea was quickly tossed out the window…Enjoy

so about 2 months ago now, i started to get some massive oral infections, right under my nose from my teeth being rotted, the infections were so bad that 2 different doctors told me the infections could (and likely would) spread to my brain and kill me, so i spent 2 weeks on ABX’s (Antibiotics) and suffering through a bit of pain (i also got a sore throat during all of this yay!), but i ended up healing up nicely, but the doctors told me i HAD to get my teeth fixed, or the infections would keep coming back and eventually get worse, so, on a new journey i did get set!

after a few weeks of interviewing dentists, and checking prices, i finally found a really nice dentist, with great prices, and to make things even better, he was willing to get me financed so i could get my teeth fixed, so after a few days of filling out paperwork, having molds of my mouth made, an appointment was set for me to get my face cut off (as i so lovingly call it) .

the Appointment to have my teeth removed was scheduled for Sept 22, 2010 at 8:30am, lucky for me on sept 18, 2010 i got yet another oral infection, and this was the one i thought would never go away, needless to say the dentists had me on abx’s and painkillers, i took them 3 times a day as directed and on the 22nd, the infection was cleared up enough that the doctor went ahead and did the surgery, and let me tell you, if your doctor / dentist ever offers you Halcyon  for a procedure, take it! i have a deep seated fear of dentists…

i believe this fear came from when i was 9 or 10 years old when i had 9 cavities and my dentist drilled all 9 without painkillers or Novocaine, then on our way home, my mom’s car got t-boned , YAY! so needless to say, i avoided dentists like they were the plague, anyways, enough about me being a cry baby, after my surgery was completed, i came home to rest, and needless to say, i was in a GREAT Deal of pain, they removed 32 teeth in 3 hours.

from what my wife tells me (nope, i don’t remember, anything at all) i was rather…. combative on the ride home, and wanted to “chat” up a storm, but, having dentures now, and just having surgery, talking to me was like trying to talk to a baby, you couldn’t understand shit, anyways, after 2 days in bed, dealing with the pains of recovery, i finally decided it was time to “man up” and get back to my life and my work….

all i can say is “fuck i needed a few more days” because the day i came back to work (yes, i own nEo Stream Services) our main Texas datacenter had one of their main PDS units “fail” and that caused 10 of my 18 servers in that datacenter to shutdown and go offline, now, for those of you that know me, and know how picky i am, you know i was a mess that evening, i ended up spending 19 hours in my chair, screaming at my Account manager at the datacenter, screaming at datacenter techs and generally doing back flips, anyways, everything was eventually fixed and all the servers came back up….

so after all of that, i started to try to get back into my routine, being in Second Life 20 hours a day, playing WoW (Word of Warcraft) in my free time, and Writing Programs when i was bored, as of this writing, life has pretty much gotten back to normal, i am still trying to learn how to eat (dentures SUCK! take care of your teeth!), but its coming along, last night (oct 6th) i had my first Real meal, we had pizza, and let me tell you something, it was the BEST damn meal i’ve had in a LONG time, especially considering I’ve been stuck eating Soup, Chilli, Twinkies (yea, its soft hush), and pretty much anything else that you can put in your mouth and swallow (stfu no cock sucker jokes!)

anyways, as i said, life is returning to normal, i am actually getting ready to kick off a new Company in the next month or so called “nEo Development Services” which will be focused on Freelance Development work, focusing on C#, but offering support for php, asp.net, and misc other languages, I’ve been working extremely hard to get things in order and make this happen, so wish me luck!

“What about nEo Stream Services?!” well, nEo is doing wonderful, we have a new product line coming out very soon, and also have quite a few add on packages that we’re going to be adding, as well as some new user Control features (nope, im not telling) that we’re going to be releasing soon, while i may have a lot going on, nEo Stream Services is now and will always be the number 1 thing on my calendar.

So i wanted to give everyone a quick tutorial of how to setup X-Lite 3.0 to work with your PBX Phone system, as with any good software, there are alot of choices out there to use (PhonerLite to name one), i Personally use X-Lite because of its unique Feature set and its awesome looking interface, not to mention its small, lightweight and works very well.

After Downloading and Installing X-Lite you should be Presented with the Main Screen

Once you are on the main screen, lets goto the configuration Menu, At the top of the window, there are three Buttons, you want to click the button are the far left that looks like an arrow Pointing Down
In the Drop down list, we want to click on “SIP Account Settings” (you will need your SIP settings provided by your Phone provider!!)
on the new page that pops up, you will want to click the “Add” button on the far left, at the top.
Now is the part where things begin to get a bit hairy. as you can see i have Highlighted some Fields, these are the only Fields we will be filling in and i will Tell you what you need to put.

Display Name: – you can put anything you want in this box, its the “Friendly” name of your SIP Account

User name:   – In the box we want to put our Extension Number that was provided to us by our Provider

Password:   – this is also know as “secret”

Domain:    – in this box, put the IP Address or DNS (phone.neostreams.info) for your SIP Server!

once you have all these boxes filled in, yours should look something like mine.
Once you have all your information entered, Go ahead and click the “Ok” button on the Property’s window, and then click “Close” on the SIP Accounts window… if everything went good, you should be back at the main X-Lite Window and it should say something like
” Ready, Your Username is: XX”
As you can see above, mine is all Ready to go!

Once you have X-Lite setup, its extremely easy to use, to make a call, simply dial the number and click the Green Send button, and you’ll be talking to your best friend in no time!

so as you can see i had a blast that day, and hopefully i will get some time to get the old bitch cleaned up and out to play again, and well, with playtime comes mud time so check back often as we will be getting mudddy

need less to say, i am happy with the tomato’s, but overall i was extremely surprised when i found this deformed little guy…. oh well… he will be eaten!
